About Sypha
SYPHA are an energetic metal band from Brighton, UK who utilise combinations of hard riffs, eerie atmospheres and punchy vocals to create their unique sound.
Brighton riff slingers, SYPHA, are a metal band with a difference. Born in 2022, and comprised of Alicia Pilling (Vocals), Alfred Atkins (Guitar), Will Cheesman (Bass), and James Anthony (Drums), the quartet take from heavyweight heroes such as Avenged Sevenfold, Deftones, and Bring Me The Horizon, but also blend the guile and melody of everyone from Blink182, Halestorm, and Marmozets
Their debut EP 'BORDERLAND' demonstrates a step toward the band's darker, heavier side and has received acclaim from radio stations including BBC Introducing, Amazing Rock Radio, ERB Radio and Total Rock.
Making waves in the metal scene, have supported the likes of , and , with plans for 2025 including festival dates, a UK tour and many more music releases.
