About Ninajirachi
Ninajirachi is the moniker of Australian DJ Nina Wilson, who is based near Sydney, New South Wales. She creates an eclectic palette of snappy and inspired electronic musings to deliver what Triple J has described as 'dance music made in an ice cave' and Indie Shuffle has described as 'Lush and ethereal' - taking influence from acts such as Flume, Porter Robinson and Mura Masa.
She was a finalist in Triple J's Unearthed High competition in both 2016 and 2017, achieving breakthrough success with the single "Pure Luck" (featuring Freya Staer), which received heavy rotation on Triple J in early 2017. In April 2017, Pigeons and Planes named her as one of the best new artist discoveries of the month.
Her debut EP, Lapland was released in February 2019. Followed by a collaborative EP with Kota Banks in 2021 titled True North. Later that year she finished development on the official demo project for Ableton Live 11, a digital audio workstation, which was included with the release to all of its users.
2022 was a big year for Ninajirachi, with the release of the mixtape Second Nature and a spot on the lineup for the Spilt Milk Festival. Wilson released the EPs 4x4 in 2023, with girl EDM (disc 1) following in 2024.
On August 8th, 2025 she released her debut album, I Love My Computer. It peaked at #12 on the ARIA Charts and garnered eight nominations at the 2025 ARIA Awards (the most of any artist that year), winning three (Best Solo Artist, Breakthrough Artist and Best Independent Release). The album also won her the 2025 Australian Music Prize. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
