About NIKI
Nicole Zefanya (born 24 January 1999) is an Indonesian singer‑songwriter and record producer, known professionally as NIKI. She was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia, before relocating to the United States to pursue music.
Zefanya began writing songs and playing guitar at age nine. She grew up listening to ’90s music, R&B, hip‑hop, and gospel, influenced in part by her mother’s involvement in church music. At fifteen, she won a contest to open for Taylor Swift’s ''The Red Tour'' in Jakarta.
In 2017, she moved to Nashville to study at Lipscomb University and released her first singles through 88rising. Her debut EP *Zephyr* appeared in 2018, followed by the albums *Moonchild* (2020), *Nicole* (2022), and *Buzz* (2024). She has toured across Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America.
