About Madeline Goldstein
The mother of new wave and dream pop, Madeline Goldstein, is a singer-songwriter, born in Portland, Oregon, based in Los Angeles. Madeline uses her ethereal vocals paired with production by Matia Simovich. During live sets, she performs with guitarist and close friend Margot Rhodes.
Before her work as Madeline, in 2010, performing as MADiE from her hometown of Portland, she was apart of an indie pop band known as Fringe Class, which disbanded in July 2022.⁽¹⁾
Moving to Los Angeles in 2019, her debut single "Dreams" would release in October 2019. She'd release her debut LP "Forget This" in February 2020. On January 7, 2021, her second single "Lost In Heaven" was released.
A whole year later, she'd return in February with her third single "One More Day", which marked her first official release as Madeline Goldstein. Her songs would start to gain traction in December 2022, following her fourth single "Seed of Doubt" which has achieved over 1 million streams on Spotify.
On May 11, 2023, under license with à La Carte Records, Madeline would release her debut EP "Other World"; featuring her hit single "Seed of Doubt". It would see a limited release of 12" vinyls and CDs, including live versions of "One More Day" and "Death's Door".⁽²⁾
In August 2024, Madeline had announced her second LP on Bandcamp, following its lead single "1996 Expectations". She would also sign to Artoffact Records in June 2025. Her second lead single "Apogee" was released on July 18, 2025. Her third lead single "My Own Design" was released on October 10, 2025. On the same day, it was dual released with her previous single "Apogee".
On December 19, 2025, Artoffact Records would release the official music video to "My Own Design".
Her second LP was originally set for a release in fall 2025, but it was moved to 2026. Despite this, Madeline has performed many unreleased songs while on tour; some that stand out are called "Dream 2 Die", "One Star One Body", and "Obscura" (based on the merch that was released on her Bandcamp in Jan 2026).
