There is more than one artist working under the name Kiyoshi. It may refer to:
1) 清 -Kiyoshi- Bass Player/Singer/Composer.
She started playing the piano when she was a little girl and the first time she played the bass was when she was 15 years old.
She is a bassist of Marty Friedman's world tour since September 2015 and recording with the band Mega High Ball.
In addition to her own musical activities, she supports multiple musicians both in Japan and abroad, including B'z, Jukichi Morishige, ZIGGY, and Kenji Hayashida. She has participated in numerous tours and recording sessions.
In Jun 2016, she appeared as the bassist "Onihime" in the movie "TOO YOUNG TO DIE!" directed by Kankuro Kudo.
In Aug 2016, Kiyoshi became the first rock bassist in Japan to sign an endorsement contract with the bass company Warwick. She performed solo at an event held at Warwick's headquarters in Germany.
In Sep 2016, she released her first album, "KIYOSHI," marking the start of her solo career in earnest. Her songs are primarily created through multi-track recording of bass, with Kiyoshi playing all parts herself except for live drums. She oversees every aspect of her work, including composing music, writing lyrics, arranging, performing, singing, and involvement in design and video production.
From May to Nov 2022, she joined B'z for their "B'z LIVE-GYM 2022 -Highway X-" tour, performing at all 32 shows.
From Jun to Sep 2023, she joined B'z for their "B'z LIVE-GYM Pleasure 2023 -STARS-" tour, performing at all 24 shows.
Kiyoshi mainly uses 5-string basses. Her performance technique and original style, especially her powerful slaps, are highly praised by many musicians. She has a bold performance style and a commanding stage presence that is unparalleled.
She also possesses deep knowledge of equipment, owing to her experience as a lecturer at a guitar craft school.

2) Honma Kiyoshi - guitarist and vocalist. Kiyoshi worked with Jewel, Virus and MEDIA YOUTH before being recruited by hide to replace former live guitarist Ran on hide's Psyence tour. In 1997 Kiyoshi was named an official member of hide with Spread Beaver.
After hide's death and the dissolution of Spread Beaver, Kiyoshi joined/formed the groups machine (with Hakuei of Penicillin), Madbeavers (with fellow Spread Beavers Chirolyn and Joe), LUCY (with Imai Hisashi of BUCK-TICK) and Kiyoshi SUPERNOVA .
