Julo, real name Julia Olk, is born in Karatau (Kazakhstan) in a musician family. As the daughter of pianist and piano maker Mark Wischnewski and the niece of opera singer Klara Wischnewski, she started her musical life with classical piano lessons. However, she realised very early that her talent was in her voice. She was therefore tought singing lessons and became part, as a singer, of different bands playing different kinds of music. In 2014, she decided, after some preparation, to kiss her "standard job" goodbye and to live exclusively from her passion: singing! Since then, Julia has been active as a session singer, singing teacher and has been singing at multiple events. Earlier this year, she replied to an advertising from Asahi Music and was chosen as the new pop label's protégée. Their first release together is called Now or Never. https://julo.online.
