Ennio

Ennio (born 29 December 1999 in Munich; real name Ennio Frankl, also known as Emotional Club) is a German musician.

Ennio Frankl was born in Munich in 1999. His parents chose his first name as a reference to the composer Ennio Morricone.

In 2016, he began releasing electronic, English-language indie music under the name Emotional Club. His best-known song from this period is Crystal.
His musical style was influenced by artists such as Tom Misch and FKJ. Since 2021, he has been releasing German-language and partly more acoustic tracks under the name Ennio. Critics have compared the shift in language and vocal style to Henning May.

On the day he released his first single as Ennio, Blaulicht, he also performed his first concert as a support act on a tour by Provinz. He later accompanied Jeremias and Majan on tour.
After performing at several festivals in summer 2022, including Waves Vienna and Reeperbahn Festival as well as Splash!, he went on his first headlining tour in December 2022 across eleven cities in Germany and Austria. Venues included Felsenkeller in Leipzig, Skaters Palace in Münster, and E-Werk in Erlangen. He also appeared on Late Night Berlin in November 2022.

He is the founder of the label Orgel Enterprise, through which he releases his music.
