CRaymak, real name Christien Raymakers, is a dubstep/bass music producer from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Jazz Studies CRaymak, is a multi-instrumentalist, who uses 15 years of Classical and Jazz theory that incorporates advanced chord sequences and musical arrangements into dance-floor ready cuts for the modern world.
CRaymak’s collaboration with Neon Dreams, titled ‘Play with Fire’ resulted in his first award by winning the East Coast Music Association Award in 2018 for Dance Recording of the Year. The record, as a part of his debut EP ‘Abstraction’ with Circus Records, was a kaleidoscope of the sounds that define CRaymak.
In recent years, CRaymak landed collaborations with Doctor P, Flux Pavilion, and more. His EP ‘Malfunction’, released on Circus Records, was widely regarded as his breakout moment, alongside releases with Monstercat & Subsidia. These works received vast support across the electronic music press.
For a producer with such a diverse knowledge and a wide array of musical taste, genres are limitless within CRaymak’s productions. Moving within the borders of bass music his sound is first and foremost heavy, it is dynamic and always energetic.
