brakence

Randy Findell, better known as brakence, is a singer, songwriter, rapper, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Columbus, OH. As a teenager, brakence began to produce his own music, and after dropping out of college, he began to focus solely on his music career. His music is lateral to the hyperpop and digicore scenes, while also blending styles of glitch pop, emo, electronic, and hip-hop. He released his label debut, "punk2", in March 2020, featuring the single "dropout". In December 2022, brakence released his second full length project, "hypochondriac", preceded by 5 singles.

After the release of his sophomore album, brakence’s online presence slowly started to deteriorate, he would continue to feature on songs randomly, most notably being Aries’ “SLEEPWALKER (feat. brakence)” in 2025. brakence would keep releasing music under his alternate alias “trabint” on SoundCloud until 2024.

Suddenly, in September of 2026, a strand of messages on Reddit and Discord would be posted leading to two poster’s in real life, both having a QR code leading to this website. brakence would then post a snippet on Instagram, X, and TikTok of a song alleged to be called “jesteR”. Later, he would post a second snippet with the caption “9/25. ready or noT” which was the release date or “ready or noT”. Read more on Last.fm.
