Toronto dream pop duo Babygirl—co-founded by Principal songwriters Kirsten Clark and Cameron Breithaupt after meeting at Humber College’s music degree program—combine their knack for pop melodies, sardonic lyrical wit, and elevated lo-fi sound design to create records that have garnered international critical attention and half a million streams on Spotify alone.

In August of 2018, Babygirl released their sophomore EP Lovers Fevers. Its second single, “Soft”, premiered via Stereogum, who characterized it as “impeccable”. Lovers Fevers has been featured on HYPEBEAST and by popular alternative rock curator David Dean Burkhart. The music from Lovers Fevers has been added to Spotify’s New Music Friday Canada, New Indie Mix, and Indie All Stars, as well as Apple Music’s Breaking Indie; and front-page feature slots on Apple Music Canada and Tidal USA.
